Something to that— we are indeed being punished, and not for any reason but to remind us who’s in charge: Not Us. Again, we are being tuned up by the billionaire class, and this is just a small taste of what’s to come. My opinion is that a.) there is a God, b.) our Nation at its outset was inspired and blessed by His providence, c.) we, as a people, told Him to shove off, and that d.) He accommodated that request. So here we are. Our ‘leaders’ are ghouls with no moral or ethical guardrails, let alone any kind of love for this country or vision for its future.
