Baloney, it’s never been this bad. Maybe the depression era. But 30 years ago? Not this bad. Not close.

I’m a rare guy, I have a budget.
My budget for all consumables
pets, dinner, beer, anything that an animal consumes
is 30% of my monthly budget.
in my records other than military service, it has been that since age 16 I’m 68 now.

The value of a dollar in a restaurant is now only half what it was on January 20, 2020.

I buy heavily when things are on sale.....cases of veggies, tomato sauce, tuna, salt, pepper, bullion, oil, vinegar, etc etc....so my pantry is in good shape and I don't have to be buying a lot...

meat?...we have several freezers with elk and deer and a half beef we bought, plus lots of fruit, chicken, pork, etc...

I also can food as well...

get ahead...and buy a lot when something is on sale...stock up on sales....look for discount items....sometimes I can bag a small bag of tomatoes for a dollar...

(Eating costs more in Biden's America. The last time this much of your income went to buying groceries was 30 years ago.)

Democrat Joe Biden is a complete disaster for Americans

(Store brands are purchased instead of name brands at the supermarket.)

That’s how I shop, anymore.

50 years, not 30. The 70s were just like this. I was a teen and I remember every trip to the store my mother would say “Steak is up AGAIN?”

So yes, I have been through this inflation once before in 1973 to 1982. I don’t remember the 1990s being anything like this though.

here in Texas, lunch is at least $15.00, if you are lucky. Guys in my office eat out 5 days a week. To expensive for me.
Stopping in a convenience store for a soda, chips or candy is just ridiculous.

Remember now, inflation was only 3 percent according to our Social Security COLA increase. Or, did Joe screw us old folks too?
