Good evening/morning, Mooch....hope you are still experiencing a snowless winter.

High winds, high temps, and lots of melting (which is good for my roof), and then headed back to zero.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

It’s about that time of year .... having to share the lake with others who want to enjoy the nice weather. LOL
The family didn’t seem to put a dent in Gizmo’s fun.

Nope, they sure didn’t((LOL)) Gizmo seemed to enjoy himself. We’ll see how Chisolm Trail Park goes later today.

It looks like you’ll miss out on the rain that’s coming through here so you and Gizmo should have a nice day for your romp.

Even for a little while, having a window open makes a huge difference in air quality. Especially in winter time when things become so stale. Now if I could just keep the dust from gathering on all the furniture. LOL! I need to dust. Soon!

Those irises sound lovely. What color[s] did he send? Irises like their bulbs to be barely covered, so ridding the beds of all the leaves and stuff will help mightily.

Yes, even just one window cracked open helps freshen the whole house. But it does make us have to dust everything. LOL

Dad sent 4 varieties of irises. The Immortality are solid white and are my faves. They bloom on my birthday and it’s like Dad’s saying “Hello”.
The Blue Suede Shoes are dark, dark purple and look more navy blue.
The Gypsy Romance are really pretty - - primarily purple with some blue, red, and copper.
The English Charm’s color scheme sounds kind of ugly but is actually quite pretty - - lavender and tan with a little yellow.

I really do need to move them to a sunnier spot. There’s too much shade where they are. They’re re-bloomers and should bloom in the fall as well as spring but they don’t get enough sun. They did the first couple of years but the trees have grown and now there’s too much shade.

I wish I COULD make it stop. LOL I’ve been through more days than I can remember like you’re going through and it’s NOT fun. AT ALL.

Those flowers sound lovely.

I think I’m gonna head out. I didn’t get a nap today and I’m sinking fast. See ya tomorrow!

Good morning, Pro...is your winter over?

We are having heavy duty winds trying to blow my house away.

I know you have to endure more of this kind of wind than I do...so, don’t you have a magic wand?

I just spent time on the deck picking up tree trash. Pretty dumb to do it now, but I did it anyway. ๐Ÿ˜

They’re beautiful. And they bloom at different times so the enjoyment lasts a little while.

I’m surprised you stayed up this late after last night and no nap today. LOL Sleep well.

I wish there WAS a magic wand. LOL I could sure use one down here at times. It’s supposed to get a little wild here tomorrow but not as bad as up there. There’s be a little more tree trash to pick up.

Getting some of your off the deck tonight means less to pick up later. I hope nothing big comes down. I haven’t seen that spruce dance as hard as it’s doing in a long time. You have some BAD wind tonight!

My bird feeders are still up because they hang from good hooks. If they go down there is no way to get to them...too much snow in the yard. Fingers crossed.

The wind is so heavy and prolonged at times that the front window is moving enough to rattle it. And that makes me nervous, because it always rattles before an earthquake.

Bird feeders seem to stay up pretty well. My hummingbird feeders hang from chains and they’ve never blown off ... so far.
Must be designed to handle wind.

Strong wind will sometimes make you think windows are going to shatter, they rattle so hard when gusts hit. It’s unnerving. I feel for ya having to deal with that storm. I had to turn the speakers off because the wind’s so loud on the mic.
