When a Chinese rocket malfunctioned shortly after launch in April 2020, destroying Indonesia's US$220 million (S$296 million) Nusantara-2 satellite, it was a blow to the archipelago's efforts to strengthen its communication networks. But it presented an opportunity for one man.
Elon Musk — the owner of SpaceX, the world's most successful rocket launcher — seized on the failure to prevail over state-owned China Great Wall Industry Corp (CGWIC) as Jakarta's company of choice for putting satellites into space.
The Chinese contractor had courted Indonesia — Southeast Asia's largest economy and a key space growth market — with cheap financing, promises of broad support for its space ambitions and the geopolitical heft of Beijing.

A Chinese rocket exploding. What a surprise.
At least the fuel tank wasn’t full of water like their nuke forces.
Either Indonesia or China has a short memory (or both):
Serious violence against Chinese people has occurred at irregular intervals since 1740, when the soldiers of the Dutch East India Company and other ethnic groups from Batavia killed up to 10,000 people of Chinese descent during the Chinezenmoord. The worst outbreaks took place in 1946-49 during the Indonesian National Revolution against Dutch rule. [More than a million Chinese were killed.] There were significant outbreaks in the early 1960s. Violence against Chinese also took place in 1965 after the failed coup attempt during anti-communist purges... In May 1998, many Chinese businesses were burned down and many Chinese girls and women were brutally raped and murdered.
I remember water rockets
Meanwhile, the Lockheed-Martin and Boeing government contract duopoly (and China) struggle with delays, technological snags, and failures in their launchers, satellites, and manned programs. The remarkable but badly flawed Space Shuttle was a technological dead end, but, courtesy of Space-X and Elon Musk, we are now developing the means to have a permanent manned presence in orbit, on the Moon, and on Mars.
It is time to realize the big Con that is Elon Musk. Besides the fact that he is highly subsidized, he continues the big lie. For instance,
The thrust from ANY rocket will cease long before 329k feet(So called Space) for two reasons: 1. Rockets move forward by the exhaust gases impacting ambient air pressure, not by mass acceleration. F=ma produces, hardly any thrust. 2. Above 150k feet the ambient pressure is so low the chemical reaction of fuel and oxidizer will not sustain to consume the fuel. Even a hypergolic reaction of two chemicals will not “burn”. Therefore what goes up will always come down.
Ummmm ok. You want to explain the concept of an “attitude thruster control” mechanism?
Maybe a little light reading
Just curious. I must have mis-read your post
Thrusters...same issue. They would not work in the environment, as they define as Space. Furthermore, it is not thrusters that get a rocket to the Karman Line. A Rocket cannot get there, based on the laws of science. No matter what anyone says, otherwise. They are liars or all their “definitions” are used to deceive.
“Must have misunderstood your post.”
A better question would be, “Why would they keep the following from the Halls of Academia and the rest of us?”

So you have just proved that rocket thrust does not work in space. Congratulations are in order! You have proved the tinfoil crowd correct, now you need to prove why the Earth is flat. Go man go!
Definitely makes you wonder...
I had a person tell me the Flat Earth Society was created by the CIA to discredit the idea of conspiracy theories.

CIA could be part of this conspiracy to hide the truth that rockets do not work in space. Its possible ... like the Flat Earth.
