My father would have told you 45 years ago that New York State government was controlled by nasty people.

The financial industry people should sell their residences to the doctors and lawyers and high tail it out of the state.

My grandparents moved from NYC in the mid 1960”s. Soon after they moved my grandfather was pulled over for speeding, per custom he was used to in New York he promptly handed the officer his wallet when asked for his license. The officer explained he was no longer in New York and to just take his license out himself.
