Two New York City governmental departments are using the photo of Kansas City Chief star Travis Kelce screaming in coach Andy Reid’s face during the Super Bowl to front their public warning campaigns.
NFL fans will recall that early in Super Bowl 58, Kelce was seen on the sideline getting in coach Reid’s face and bashing into the elderly man in frustration. Kelce has since apologized for his ignorant actions.
Now, the New York City Department of Transportation has used the image to push its anti-car agenda, the New York Post reported.

I’m not a sportsfan... so maybe a Freeper who is a sportsfan could tell me:
Was this Kelce guy a world famous celebrity before Swift picked him to be her boyfriend of the month, or was he just an average sort of pro ball player mostly known just by fans of the team?
He is probably a Hall of Famer

Yes. He is probably the best at his position in the NFL. His “fame” outside of football was just taking off when he started dating Swift.
I knew it would be just a matter of time before somebody used that now infamous/iconic picture, but I didn’t think it would be the NYC Transportation Dept.
They need to stay in their lane, and stick to processing paperwork only.

Tim thinks Travis was not screaming at his Coach in an act of disrespect, rather, Travis was begging the Coach to put him back into the game.Tim thinks the Coach was pleased at the dedication Kelce was showing to their ultimate goal of winning. That’s partly why the Coach just stood there, absorbing all that frantic drama. I hadn’t thought ofvit that way before.

Just like the Marxists that propogandized them in college, they have to turn every inch of government into a political operation.
Vikings TE T.J. Hockenson is better.
The only reason he didn’t end with better numbers than Kelce, is because the NFLs best receiver in Justin Jefferson is on the same team, and until his and Curt Cousins injury, Hockenson was the top TE in the league this year.
