I would be interested to know if authorities seized all the homeowner’s firearms and ammo “pending investigation” while they were there? Because if they did he will be lucky to get them back or it will cost him more than they are worth to get them back.

Even if he is found to be in the right. Once they take them it is almost impossible to get them back.

I don’t know about that. My husband had a wreck on I-75 a few years ago. They airlifted him to the hospital. The State Trooper brought his carry gun to me at 10:00 that night.

I got stopped once in Chattanooga and the cop saw that I had a carry permit. He asked me if I had my gun in the truck and I said no. He said, “if you have a permit, you need to carry that gun”.

TN is mostly pretty gun friendly but I’m in S.E.TN and not Memphis.

If the victim doesn’t have a criminal record and they did take his gun, he will get it back. It was a good shoot. It would have been a better shoot if both criminals had been shot dead but I think he did fine considering.
