I had to laugh at Charlie the Gawd talking about how often the Democrats had lied by demonizing their opponent, and the black community just doesn’t believe them anymore. He then proceeds to use the DNC talking point of how Trump will mean the end of Democracy, but he ain’t endorsing anyone just saying who shouldn’t be President. After all his jive it looks like Chuck is quite comfortable with the plantation system, just so long as he gets to stay in main house.
Are you referring to the piss-poor collage football teams that Mississippi has? Alabama does not have the Mighty Mississippi river, just some podunk Tennessee river up north and some canal running thorough the middle of Alabama
here's Ben:
Thank you brother Mike.
They are determined to bring Trump down but I do not think it will work.
The property owners will be writing down asset values, which will reduce their federal and state income tax liability, and will prompt more appeals of real estate tax assessments to lower that tax liability.
And all it takes is one short judge with an agenda to show off how tough he is to impose fines and penalties if/when a dispute becomes a law suit or criminal trial.
As long as the national debt continues to be an imaginary number and nobody expects anybody to pay it off or pay attention to it, the crisis can be ignored. If the printing press breaks, all (****) will break loose.
Mind-bending double-standard, lack of self awareness:
David Brinkley on CBS Face the nation. Host Robert Costa comments “we’ve never seen anything like this in presidential politics.”
Brinkley agrees and waxes about ‘a president with mob like, capitalistic behaviour grabbing money from wherever they can get it. And some voters like that.’
I thought...is talking about Hunter/Joe selling infuence ? No, he was talking about a former president Trump.
What planet is he on....am I on ? Jeez.
CBS now talking with Douglas Brinkley a supposed historian about all Trumps trials and how bad he is compared to all the other presidents. What a biased idiot Brinkley is. He calls Trump a predatory guy and a criminal of the likes of Al Capone, he's an outlaw president accd. to Douglas Brinkley a liberal loon, lol!
...................... aBc talking about all the money Biden took accd. to a biased fbi guy dirty dems on panel saying we don't want to legislate-she right we don't want stupid bills and wont pass them. Donnna my prima donna in yet another costume, she must think its Halloween every Sunday. Yet another bozo panel all against Trump and pointing out what a small majority we have in the house.
The driveby nets are getting worse and worse the closer we get to the election. They hate Trump and us as well.
Great stuff Bernard it seems no one has a firm grip on where the economy is headed as many say interest rates will rise as fall. So no one knows.
And then there is this Feb 17, 2024--Tech giants come together to combat deceptive deepfakes ahead of 2024 elections
Twenty leading technology companies, including Google, Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, TikTok, X, Amazon and Adobe vowed Friday to help prevent deceptive uses of artificial intelligence from interfering with global elections.
In 2024, 4 billion people in over 40 countries around the world are expected to vote. Experts said easily accessible generative AI tools falling in the hands of bad actors could potentially impact those elections and sway votes.
Generative AI tools allow users to create images, videos, or audio from simple text prompts. Some do not have the necessary safeguards in place to prevent users from creating content of politicians or celebrities saying things they've never said or doing things they've never done.
Just last month, a fake robocall impersonating President Joe Biden's voice discouraged individuals from voting in the New Hampshire primary. Taiwan saw its fair share of deepfakes circulating on social media ahead of its presidential election on Jan. 13.
At the Munich Security Conference, these companies announced the "Tech Accord to Combat Deceptive Use of AI in 2024 Elections," which is a voluntary agreement with a set of eight specific commitments to deploy technology countering harmful AI content.
"Democracy rests on safe and secure elections," said Kent Walker, president of global affairs at Google at the Munich conference. "Google has been supporting election integrity for years, and today's accord reflects an industry-side commitment against AI-generated election misinformation that erodes trust. We can't let digital abuse threaten AI's generational opportunity to improve our economies, create new jobs, and drive progress in health and science."
This sounds like another cover to justify censorship of social media for 2024.
In that regard, one of the biggest cases on free speech will on th SCOTUS docket in March, i.e., Murthy v. Missouri
Issue: (1) Whether respondents have Article III standing; (2) whether the government’s challenged conduct transformed private social media companies’ content-moderation decisions into state action and violated respondents’ First Amendment rights; and (3) whether the terms and breadth of the preliminary injunction are proper.
The FBI was able to get a stay in implementation of the Appeals Court decision to prohibit federal agencies from meeting with social media to censor content. It couyld be a landmark decision.
Radio host Charlamagne tha God said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that President Joe Biden was an “uninspiring candidate” with “no main character energy at all.”
Anchor Jon Karl said, “What’s your sense? How engaged, how much is your audience paying attention to this race?”
Charlamagne said, “I feel like my audience is America, and when I’m out and about just walking in the street or people are calling into the radio station, like, nobody is inspired, you know, by the upcoming election. Nobody wants to see the rematch between, you know, Biden and Trump, and that’s what makes me feel like the couch is going to win.”
He continued, “He’s just an uninspiring candidate. There’s nothing about Joe Biden that makes you want to listen to him. That’s why he should be leaning on his vice president, Kamala Harris, who’s way more charismatic than him. He should be leaning on other surrogates like Gavin Newsom or Shapiro in Pennsylvania. Like he should be leaning on people who are more inspiring than him, are more charismatic than him. He should be, I guess, if you want to call it, the brains of the operation behind the scenes. Like, that sounds crazy. We’re saying that about a president of the United States of America, but he has no main character energy at all. None.”
Hey Chiller, it was Jon Karl, not Stepponallofus.
A recession is likely to hit the US economy in 2024, a new economic model highlighted by the economist David Rosenberg suggests.
The economic indicator, which Rosenberg calls the "full model," suggests there's an 85% chance of a recession striking within the next 12 months.
That's the model's highest reading since the Great Financial Crisis in 2008.
The model is based on a working National Bureau of Economic Research paper and consists of financial conditions indexes, the debt-service ratio, foreign term spreads, and the level of the yield curve.
Rosenberg said this economic model had "superiority" over other models due to its history of providing a timely warning of recessions without firing any false signals since 1999.
He noted that in early 2023 this model suggested only a 12% chance of a recession — while the yield-curve indicator said the odds of a recession were 50% at the time.
Former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that the 2024 presidential election was about keeping former President Donald Trump and the “Putin wing of the Republican Party” from taking over the White House.
Anchor Jake Tapper said, “What you say, doing what Donald Trump wants him to do. Donald Trump has not responded directly at all to Navalny’s death last night, he was attacking prosecutors at his rally in Michigan. He’s posted dozens of times on his Truth Social social media app calling Biden an incompetent president. So it’s not as he hasn’t been speaking this is the likely Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump. How do you feel about the fact that he has not said one word about Navalny? he’s had harsher words about Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, than he has had about Vladimir Putin.”
Cheney said, “Yeah, I mean, look, Donald Trump, as you pointed out said just a few days ago, that he had, he had told a NATO ally that he would encourage Putin to do whatever he needed to do, whatever you wanted to do. He’s basically made clear that under a Trump administration, the United States is unlikely to keep its NATO commitments.”
She added, “I think that Republicans who understand the importance of the national security situation, who continue to support him are similarly going to be held to account when you think about Donald Trump, for example, pledging retribution what Vladimir Putin did to Navalny is what retribution looks like in a country where the leader is not subject to the rule of law. I think that we have to take Donald Trump very seriously. We have to take seriously the extent to which you’ve now got a Putin wing of the Republican Party I believe the issue this election cycle is making sure that Putin wing of the Republican Party does not take over the West Wing the White House.”
She's such a GD liar! And guess what? Shortly after Trump made his JOKE about NATO and Russia, several NATO countries announced they're adding more financial contributions (which they HAVE to do 2% of their budget annually as NATO members).
Also on CNN State of the Union: Liz(ard) Cheney Won’t Rule Out 2024 Presidential Run
ME: LOFL! Go for it, Lizard. Put you Miss Piggy a$$ on the line. I'm sure Kermit will vote for you!
I had high expectations for Tha God interview with Steponallofus, but he never showed.
Yes, very comical Tha God talks about end of democracy while Ds use lawfare to remove a once-elected Prez. from the ballot. Highly edited piece, surely cut to showcase every anti-Trump thought, while nearly as many were spoken about Biden.
Now, Tucker and Balz have explained and detailed anti-free speech measures used by DHS, HHS, etc. (just as we saw in ‘19-’20 re: laptop) Everyone who’s seem Tucker’s latest are aghast.
He did show, see my post #110.
Republican presidential candidate former Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC) said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that if former President Donald Trump were allowed to put loyalists in charge of the Republican National Committee, there would not be any money left to win control over the House and Senate in 2024.
I: Huh? I guess she has a crystal ball... How come she didn't see herself losing to "none of the above" in Nevada?
I’m praying for Donald Trump and America... We need to punish the people who are trying to destroy Donald Trump because he is for Americans, not for the ELITES!
The Real Trucker Jake 🇺🇸 @bigskyfit
What this country needs is a good old-fashioned trucker boycott of democrat-run cities.
The left needs to be reminded of who really runs this country.

The Real Trucker Jake 🇺🇸 @bigskyfit · 17h I feel your pain, brother. I worked the Midwest for several years. Saw it first hand and always felt sorry for the good MAGA conservatives south of Chicago who had to put up with all that liberal corruption.
If she has to say it, you know it is being thought about.
Leave, NY Businesses!
You'll be happier elsewhere, and not hauled into court for getting business loans and such.

good catch here:
Yes...I noted that in my post #68. Tha God showed, but not Steponallofus, which is what I was waiting for to see if George would throw Biden, or Tha God under the bus. Consider, Steponallofus takes orders from Obie & Co. to see how this will play out this campaign season.
Karl / Tha God basically tossed Trump under the bus, although Biden a bit too.
