The European Union is good at coming up with inoffensive-sounding terminology to talk about unpleasant things.
For example, the phrase “strategic autonomy” is a nice way of saying, “We don’t trust the Americans” — and, with Donald Trump leading the polls and boasting about encouraging Vladimir Putin to invade European countries, it is impossible to blame them.
It is important to get the context of Trump’s remarks straight: Trump says he told an unidentified NATO counterpart whose country hadn’t met the organization’s target for defense spending, “No, I would not protect you. In fact, I would encourage [Russia] to do whatever the hell they want.” Despite the fact that Trump — a habitual liar — probably didn’t say what he says he said, what he’s saying now is a statement about how he intends to conduct our affairs if elected.

Biden is turning his back on adequate cognitive function. He is senile. He is not making any decisions.
NATO has been good for one thing since 1991. It has kept Germany relatively disarmed and militarily, a vassal state of the U.S. Without NATO, Germany would be nuclear armed (assuming the Russians did not immediately nuke them to prevent such a nightmare scenario). Since the globohomos in Germany are well on the way to de industrializing the nation, a revanchist Reich is not much of a concern. Now there is zero reasoning to maintain NATO.
Joe has given Europe over to the muslims to govern. European Union is destroying the beautiful cultures they once had.
“boasting about encouraging Vladimir Putin to invade European countries,” That is a damn lie, taken totally out of context. What Trump said was that if Europe doesn’t pay their fair share for NATO, then they should suffer the consequences.
