It’s horrific when a political opponent dies in jail.
But it’s also never good to be caught on camera attempting a coup in your country with a foreign intel service.
Navalny in this video is asking MI6 Officer James William Thomas Ford for $10-20 Million a year to start a color revolution in Russia.
This is why he was arrested. And has major implications especially in light of the CIA and MI6 sabotaging the Trump administration.

Navalny’s only electoral “success” was getting about 25% of the vote in 2012 Moscow Mayor’s election - Russia’s most “liberal” city.
An election, BTW, he claimed was stolen by opposition party controlling electronic voting machines, using uncounted mail-in ballots, and delaying counting in districts they controlled. Sound familiar?
He was the West’s candidate - not ordinary Russians
I would submit that that dreadful murderous autocrat Putin did it so that the headline-his death was created - drawing attention to the issue, and then when everyone is paying attention so it can’t be buried you release the video showing that there really was a Five-eyes plot to overthrow Putin.

His credibility is justifiably in question. His self-serving guilty pleas made legal facts of events that were up until that point smears.

I would submit that tacitly supporting Russia from soup to nuts is explicitly supporting the enemy.
I saw that hypothesis somewhere, but don’t know. Apparently no one knew about the video. I guess the Russian propagandists were saving it for the right moment. Sort of blunts the whole Western outrage thing and the no we had no designs on Russia thing and Ukraine was totally unprovoked.
I don’t support Russia. I also have a hard time with the foreign policy of our deep state which seems directed at keeping us distracted from securing our Southern border. All the pro-Ukrainians are distracted and so it works.
