Fulton County prosecutor Fani Willis allegedly reimbursed her lover and fellow Trump case prosecutor, Nathan Wade, with cash for extravagant vacations they spent together, Wade said on the stand in a Georgia courtroom Thursday. Wade said the expenses were initially paid for with his business credit card.
If the presiding judge determines Willis engaged in an actual conflict of interest with her lover and fellow prosecutor, Willis would be removed from the case, handing former President Donald Trump a massive victory in the Georgia election interference case.
Judge Scott McAfee said during a Monday hearing that disqualification from the case is “possible” for Willis.

Fani has several money trees in her backyard so there will be no ATM receipts.

Wade testified that many clients of his private practice came into his office with cash. And he never thought twice about it.
There is no "company." Wade operates as a sole proprietor of his legal practice, but is in an informal kind of non-legal partnership agreement with a couple of other guys at times.
And these expenses are not business-related but due to pleasure trips, so they wouldn't be deductable for tax purposes (and Wade testified that they were not taken as tax deductions).
The cash repayment matter on the other hand is curious. People use cash nowadays when they are trying to hide something or at least prevent the establishment of a paper trail. But that said, Fani's account statements will most likely show withdrawals in similar amounts. No one except drug dealers and mafiosi keep large amounts of "walking around money" on their person. Too easy to get robbed.

This seemingly can’t counterbalance or render innocent the fact that he initially paid for both him and Ms. Fani.

Actually, I’ll be really interested to see if she can actually show withdrawals to match the repayments.
Her bank records will show if she withdrew the cash and if it doesn’t her stud belongs in JAIL for Perjury
1. Did he write off those business credit card charges as business expenses or repay his company?
2. Does she have bank withdrawal slips for the cash she allegedly paid him?

Both Willis and Wade as professional attorneys should have been well aware that they were skirting an ethical red line with their relationship and the perception of a quid pro quo. Willis, if she actually was reimbursing Mr Wade should have kept a record of such reimbursements just as a matter of countering any possible ethical questions. Cash payments are the exact opposite of what she should have been doing and it really appears to be a quickly conceived cover story.

I watched this for awhile. It was unexpectedly very interesting. Wade was testifying and would repeat yes/no question back with some sort of difference, often enough to change the actual question he was answering. I have never seen someone look so guilty arguing over things like the word ‘re-up’ for his contract renewal. The questioning lawyer is dogged though. He just keeps going at it until he gets a yes or no to his original question. And you can usually see why he didn’t want to answer it.

She may have filed a false document with the court concerning when her affair began. Then she didn’t file ethics reports on gifts. If there is justice, she will be removed.
