Yet another loss for the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Ukraine seems to have sea-superiority now. They managed to preserve their grain exports. Russia lost that battle,

So many deaths on both sides. Many culpable hands and self serving actions.

Having served aboard a destroyer, I know some people have no way out. My battle station was in the bowels of the ship, loading the gun.

Russia has been “going total whoop ass” in Ukraine. This is the best they can do and it’s not good enough.
This war of theirs has become a tar baby.

There is nothing obvious here except that it is a centuries old geopolitical local situation that has been cynically exploited by other Nations and political factions. Ukraine has a 30 year history of independence as a Nation, marked by incredible corruption. Along with their common origin in 9th century Kyiv, Russia has controlled much or all of Ukraine for the past 350 years. Ukrane’s independence is a blip in history and a relative autonomy with ties was Ukraine’s original aim in the 20th century.
The people of the region are being conscripted & slaughtered, their land and cities being devastated because of outsiders and corrupt leaders using them as pawns. Any attempt to portray this as a simple issue with an obvious solution is disingenuous.

And Germany controlled Kaliningrad for that time too ... so what?
All irrelevant
Ukraine is a sovereign country now, and Russia even signed a treaty that recognized its independence

Putin is a murderous, communist dictator. Zelensky is a global money laundering puppet for elites. Neither of them are good people.

Ukrainians do not identify themselves as Russians. This is all that really matters, Russian dreams of rebuilding the old Tsarist empire not withstanding.

Meanwhile, on the battlefront, RUAF forces cut Avdiivka in two, operationally encircling it.

Putin is no communist. Communism in Russia is over. Why else would the establishment hate her so much? The new Soviet Union is in the United States. It already burned out in Russia. Now they laugh at us the way we used to laugh at them.

It is isn't by any normal definition a nation. It was an administrative district of the Soviet Union encompassing Russians, Ukrainian speaking people, Hungarians, Poles and others. Crimeas has been part of Russia since before the US was a country. The Ukrainian speaking people appear to me to include a very large contingent of folks who are just like the Palestinians, insanely sore at their lot in life. Okay, if they can be civilized give them their own state, but don't make people who don't want to be ruled by OUR insane violent Nazis be part of it.
When the US disintigrates WEF/UN should just assign Texas to Mexico as part of their sovereign territory. Then we can have peace.
You Zeepers are just blind abject maliciously stupid people, And arrogant as hell like the British foreign service during the empire - we will draw boundaries in the middle east and then we will have peace.
