John Roberts should not have even done that, but he hates Trump. So, I guess we should all expect the worse out of him, because he has shown that the worst is usually what we get from him.

Cool it. What Roberts could have done is said no we are not doing this. In all legal proceeding due process requires that the other side have the right to respond. 1 week is actually a short period of time for something like this, but the COA gave Trump a very short time to appeal, thinking perhaps that the USSC would reject it out of hand and they could start putting Trump in jail.
