“Drones might have a compass, AM/FM signal monitoring, sun/star position guidance, road tracking guidance, etc.”

With modern 50 megapixel or more and infrared capabilities for zero or low light screens it’s 1980s level tech to do digital scene mapping like tomahawk cruise missiles did for decades that level tech could be put into a smartphone now. Back in the 80s twenty feet CEPs were achieved using TERCOM and digital scene matching. Watch some of the older Gulf war footage from downtown Baghdad you would see what looked to be photo flashes from the sky light up an area on the ground then whoosh as a middle goes by those flashes were the downward facing camera system snapping a image to then match to satellite imagery thus showing down to the few feet where the middle just over flew that would then be updated to the INS and course corrections made when the missile gets to it’s target it starts to snap forward images seconds before impact to home in on the doorway or vent hole it’s targeting those split second flashes don’t give enough info for a intercept to be made this was in the 1980_90s all that is miniaturized now. Russia doesn’t need GPS they have GLONASS and for sure copied TERCOM and scene matching tech too.

It would not surprise me if some enterprising Ukrainians skimmed off some of the Starlink terminals to be sold on the black market.

“The DOD has already contracted SpaceX to put up based on its gen 2 starlink birds a dedicated DOD version for Space Force. Some of the recent classified launches likely contained the initial birds. the last falcon heavy was launched in partially disposable mode they splashed the main booster which means they had enough payload on board to need the extra delta V leaving no fuel for a booster recovery.”

Yes, I have been following Starlink since it started. Some points to consider:

Starlink was government subsidized as part of Space X.

Musk turned over partial control of starlink to the Dod awhile back and most likely other intelligence agencies.

I have been using it now for about eight months and have documented proof that Starlink is manipulating my “user experience” with censoring content and throttling. The DoD and intelligence agencies have already tried to breach my firewall through Starlink three times.

The “coming soon” mobile phone calling and data and tracking system is in place with the birds that are already in the air just waiting for the 5G mobile devices to be implemented.

While musk does throw us a bone now and then appearing to fight against the powers that be, he is already posed to set up the proverbial Skynet system. And he has no choice, if he doesn’t they will take it away from him with false flag reasoning just like this article to do it.

I think he wears a coat of many colors and even though he claims to support the people, he will indeed jump on the opportunity to have this much power and control over the global Skynet system especially if they are paying him with taxpayer’s dollars to do it the way they want him to do it.

I think he is all in despite what he claims.

Musk is crossing the Deep State with that Putin interview so its payback time

This is disheartening I have been wanting to do the digital nomad thing as a consultant I am not bound to geography most of the time. As long as I can have a Nord VPN stream at 1.5 Mbps or so I can do my kinda work from anywhere. Less if you don’t need real time telemetry updates to a directional driller somewhere. I could her by with a LAS file for a gamma log and CSV for the directional survey going old.school OpsGeo. Elon just turned on Costa Rica I want to do GeoOps from the beach in the Pacific side my friends own a fishing biz with an AirBnB on site I’m welcome whenever and could bill my clients for the starlink access.

Have you had any troubles with IP6 encrypted streams into and back from a VPN nothing I do is over an open connection ever it’s always to a proxy server. Works great for NFL regional blackouts suck it NFL I’ll just get a proxy in the zip code you allow and stream from there.

I’m one foot in the water on a 15 meter boat for a live aboardI. Pacific side Costa via the Panama Canal would be my first long term port. Interested to hear about your VPN experiences.

“It may be news to you but, despite your fantasies, Musk is not at war with the Russians.”

“A wish, I know, but it would be fun to see the aerial version of “Red October”.”

Oh, come on. Wouldn’t you like to see Russian drones attack Putin’s home and the rest of the Russian command centers?

It is impossible. The dishes have pinpoint physical geolocation and the units are tied to an account identity or they won’t work. This is why I think this article is a psyops false flag.

“Musk is crossing the Deep State with that Putin interview so its payback time.”

And they are going to take it from him as an intelligence asset in the interest of national security.

They will let him collect his fees as a mass internet provider but they will have full control over the data collection and intelligence use. They are already doing this for the most part.

About the weight of a battery of titanium “rods from God”.
To be used on who knows who?

Honestly I have not used a VPN with it yet. I have been wanting to purposely bait the hook and do counter intelligence to document their intrusions. manipulations, and control. Intelligence agencies are collecting data on all starlink users and I am trying to catch them at it. Stealth is counterproductive in my efforts to do this.

But something you can look forward to if you do hook up down there. Just like all internet providers the bandwidth and speeds available drop as more and more users tap into it. The system is already having capability issues and even sometimes drops down to old school 56k dial up speeds. Sometimes it is so slow websites time out on you before they load. And... It is like the old days where you have to click it or lose it. If you idle too long it will disconnect you. I have to turn off my connection and turn it back on all the time to reestablish service back again after I idle too long.

People forget that the satellite uplink/downlink system still has to go through a terrestrial system on the other end to tie it to the WWW. Questions are not asked about who all is tied into this terrestrial system that supports the satellite system. The satellite system is only as good and secure as the terrestrial system supporting it. Who is operating the terrestrial servers? Does Musk have his own extensive terrestrial server system or is he utilizing 3rd party services such as Amazon or Alphabet for this server power? If he is using insecure 3rd parties then it is all tied into the existing spy net. All the censoring and monitoring that already exists and many “think” they are dodging by using Starlink.

Websites see the connection as sourced directly from Starlink but is it with no stepping stone servers in between? You can bet it is not, there are 3rd parties in between...

Russians have some of the best hackers in the world. I am sure besides Starlink they are using any cell towers and GPS systems (Europe or American) they need to send their drones accurately.

The Starlink system has almost pinpoint accuracy to where the dish is located without need for any terrestrial assets. The dish it’s self has a geolocation system incorporated. And each device can be turned off as they like.

This is why it does no good to try and use Starlink as a mobile unit without paying them extra for the optional mobile feature. Their location system sees the dish changing location and shut it off.

All a Russian would have to do is buy the service under a phony Ukrainian identity with mobile service. As long as the service is available in Ukraine it is likely impossible to stop a bad guy from using it.

Except that our own Dept of Defense is in control of Starlink and everything that goes through it. If the enemy is using it they would absolutely know and have the option to immediately shut that device down or continue to allow it to be used by the enemy.

There is no way Russia could use it for military purposes without them knowing. So if it is becoming a problem then our own DoD and/or intelligence agencies are allowing them to do it.

I have always been a fan of the “rods from God” concept. Tungsten would make a better rod material even better would be depleted uranium but the air pollution after impact would preclude either from actual use.

The other choice is Space Force sent their soy plane to a very high energy orbit such as the GPS belt or higher into the GEO belt you would need huge delta V to get to either and back to reentry velocity. Falcon heavy upper stage can send 26,000lbs to GTO that’s more than double what the X37b masses at officially. The left is plenty for a high energy third stage to make the 1800mps burn to GSO and then 1800 more back down to a a highly elliptical GTO style orbit one more 500 mps or less burn at perigee puts the next orbital perigee inside the upper atmosphere your heatsheild does the rest of the reentry delta V. My bet is they sent their little spy bird to GSO to look at chicom or Russian comms birds.
