President Biden swooped to Nikki Haley’s defense against attacks from former President Donald Trump over her deployed husband’s absence from the campaign trail.
At a rally in Conway, South Carolina Saturday, Trump sounded off on Maj. Michael Haley, “What happened to her husband? Where is he? He’s gone! He knew.”
“The answer is that Major Haley is abroad, serving his country right now. We know he thinks our troops are ‘suckers,’ but this guy wouldn’t know service to his country if it slapped him in the face,” Biden posted on X Sunday.

I think the smarter thing for him to have said would be to thank
MAJ Haley for his service.
And no one seems to mention the questionable casino deal he got into with the brother of Congressman Jim Clyburn. Doesn’t seem like a big deal, but the NYT and WaPo would be on it if she was the nominee.
I just think that it is too early to make that call.

Seems to depend on which date of Wikipedia one looks at - current one supports your claim, earlier ones are all over the place. In any case, it’s silly of her to try to run against Trump.
I think he is exposing the fact that this guy is deployed in a military operation in Africa. He kept saying, “Where is he, where is he.” Now people are going to ask, “Why are we in Africa.” What is the military objective? Has congress voted to have these solders put in harm’s way, or has Biden ordered them there?

Trump is campaigning at rallies. He knows the garbage “press” that America has is against him 100%.
I think he actually knows what he’s doing, as far as campaigning goes. The “press” would prefer a basement campaign, like they know Biden has to run.
