It is a reflection on how much the American people love "compromise" and "why can't they get along?" that no one questions 1) what money for Israel and Ukraine has to do with immigration, and 2) why any existing immigration laws need to be changed in the first place,

The fact that the President does not take care that the laws be faithfully executed does not indicate the need for any new laws, especially not any new laws which wreck the laws that already exist.

Me too. They want funding only for the UKR distraction away from the economy and Biden’s inept handling of everything. They can’t even pretend to do something about the border and resist throwing about THREE TIMES as much money to UKR. Not another penny! Not even with money for the border (unless it is for REAL FENCES).
