I’m sure some reporters interviewed hitler in the 1940’s. This is no different.

On threads on FR, attacks are nothing more than people throwing electrons at each other.

Some of them electrons are really sharp or have a big charge which is quite shocking. It's like getting tased. Knocks me off my tuffet and spills my curds and whey.

--- "Stepanoplous and other deep state journalists interviewing Putin. All the other deep state journalists did it."

Yup. Here's a blast or four from the past, so to speak:

Barbara Walters with Putin

Stephanopoulos with Putin

Megyn Kelly with Putin

NBC News' Keir Simmons with Putin

“It’s OK when we do it.”

I think it is important to realize there isn’t any consistency or integrity or quest for the truth involved here. They have a Narrative they want to get out.

They sure as hell don’t want anybody thinking for themselves and making up their own mind about things. That isn’t how this works. That isn’t how any of this works.

Facts, inconvenient facts, may just cause people to arrive at the wrong conclusions. That’s why they are all screeching like wounded eagles at guys like Trump or Musk or anybody who strays off the plantation.

Tucker is one THE most objective journalists in the country.

That he won't blindly regurgitate Biden regime/Deep State propaganda is, apparently, the problem you have with him.

It's painfully you and your ilk are perfectly fine with propaganda coming from your own government. And, that makes you and your ilk closer to the communists that ran the Soviet Union than Putin and those in charge in Russia.

The interview with Putin is just another data point on which to evaluate Putin, especially with regard to the Russia -Ukraine War

Now, how Carlson acquits himself is also a data point. He doesn’t have to lunge across the table to ask tough questions.

Someone who cries foul at the interview may simply not be capable of the art of discernment. Or they may simply not have the intellect to evaluate Putin’s comments in an objective manner.

He should interview Putin. The question is should he interview him like CNN interviews Biden

"Carlson does an interview, people can digest it and decide for themselves. It's that simple."

It's not that simple for Nazis. They want to control every aspect of your life, every thought, every action. Nazis don't want you thinking independently. You're to follow them in lock-step, or you will be labeled, and censored. Plenty of Nazis here on FR. Somehow they infiltrated FR during the 26 years I've been here.

I think Putin is a bad guy.

And, I KNOW Biden and Zelensky are far worse guys.

Everything we accuse Russia of is actually of us and certainly is true of Ukraine.

Rigged elections? We had one in 2020. Political prisoners? From peaceful J6 prisoners to pro-lifers, we have them. A President above the law? That Biden, who has brazenly allowed open borders and is aiding and abetting criminals.

Ukraine is one of the most tyrannical hellholes on earth. It, not Russia, carries on the legacy of the Soviet Union. Zelensky has banned opposition parties and news outlets, imprison opposition leaders, destroyed churches, cancelled elections and imprisoned and muredered dissents, including American citizen Gonzalo Lira.

So, this obsession with how bad Russia is when we're worse and have spent a $150 billion on dumpster fire of a country like Ukraine is laughable.

The Biden regime and politicians bought and paid for by the World Economic Forum are infinitely greater threat to American and Western citizens than Russia.

"The MSM interviewed Saddam during Desert Storm. Nobody complained about that."

CNN deliberately ignored atrocities of Saddam and his sons, despite knowing about them, simply so he would let them keep their office in Baghdad open, and nobody in the media complained about that.

Which mosque do you attend?

If you’re looking for a new place to worship, they probably don’t allow homosexuals.

I remember when Talk-Talk was better than War-War. Didn’t Shirer interview all the Nazi mucky-mucks in 1940 when we were “Neutral” in the on going war between England, France and Germany?

Is Carlson a “journalist?” About as any of the others these days. Actually, I am curious as to Putin as to say? We can read between the lines, accept what he says at face value, or reject it. Meh....

Thank God Fox News didn’t have the poofter Shepard Smith interview Putin. That would have been embarrassing.

I tend to have a hands-off mindset when it comes to most foreign diplomatic disputes and military campaigns, but when I saw the public comment about Tucker Carlson from that duplicitous @sshole Alexander Vindman, I find myself rooting for the Russians to turn his entire home country into a smoking ruins.

There ... I said it. :-O

“I think Putin is a bad guy.”

Probably. But Zelensky is way worse. He has a meaningful relationship with the Biden Crime Family, and that operation to launder our tax dollars to be funnels back to DC pols.

"I guess I missed the part where we declared war on Russia."

We only fight proxy wars with Russia, China, and have been since the Korean War...and now you can add Iran to the mix. Proxy wars are desired by the people who start them because nobody ever wins them, but a bunch of people sure do get rich during them.
