Then why was she found guilty?
I guess that the jury is lying too.
And the prosecutors.
And the judge.
And the court system.
I don’t like being called a liar.
She was found guilty because juries like to blame someone when a horrific tragedy like this occurs. The kid was old enough to know the difference between right and wrong and chose to do wrong, Finding him guilty wasn’t enough for prosecutors looking for scalps so they trumped up some phony charges against the mother and sold the jury on it. A disgusting and disgraceful banana republic move to intimidate gun owners and a small step toward criminalizing gun ownership just like in the tyrannical UK.
“I don’t like being called a liar.”
Then don’t tell them. You said, in post #69, “He told his parents what he was going to do. They told nobody. Then they bought him guns and he did it. Yeah, they are directly responsible.”
I followed the trial. There was never any such evidence produced at the trial (i.e., that the kid told his parents he was going to go shoot up the school; that the parents not only ignored it, but went out and bought him the gun!).
So, yeah; you lied.
