There is always a debate about the “more cruelty” or not about life imprisonment. Different people can have different views of it. Nothing is a “perfect” solution.
I think a packagectomy would certainly slow a pedo down. As with the death penalty, I would in principle be in favor of at least giving it a try. But given the sorry state of our politicized injustice system, I think our government no longer has the moral authority to do such a thing.
Do both castration and a life in prison....even better castration and death sentence.

God took sexual sin seriously enough to establish the death penalty for it. HE doesn’t have any problem with using it for rape.

Execution by whatever means necessary is NOT REVENGE if it prevents another victim of a pedophile, it won’t cure the trauma of the first victim but it will prevent the occurrence of another.
I always thought a .45ACP round to the brainpan was a good solution to pedophilia. Quick, easy, very effective and it only costs about 50 cents. The only problem is someone will have to clean up the mess. How about the pedophile next in line?
