ress Release: Attorney General Labrador Defeats Satan

he following press release was sent out by the Office of Attorney General Raúl Labrador. Press releases do not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of those at the Idaho Dispatch.

Boise, ID – Last week, the Attorney General’s office successfully defeated The Satanic Temple’s challenge to Idaho’s Defense of Life Act. The Satanic Temple claimed a constitutionally protected right for its female members to ceremonially abort their babies as part of a Satanic ritual that involves the eerie invocation: “By my body, my blood, by my will, it is done.” A federal court dismissed The Satanic Temple’s entire lawsuit with prejudice and without leave to amend—a resounding defeat for the Satanists.

“The district court rejected every claim The Satanic Temple asserted and dismissed the case with prejudice. The court held that each claim lacked merit, even describing one of The Satanic Temple’s positions as producing a “blatantly absurd” result,” said Attorney General Labrador. “My office will continue to defend the lives of the unborn at every turn.”

Following the Supreme Court’s decision overturning Roe v. Wade, the State of Idaho enacted the Defense of Life Act to protect the unborn. Shortly after the law took effect, The Satanic Temple sued Attorney General Raúl Labrador and the Ada County Prosecutor, Jan Bennetts. The Satanic Temple also claimed that Idaho’s law unconstitutionally interfered with its New Mexico abortion clinic, which does business as “The Sam Alito’s Mom’s Satanic Abortion Clinic.”

Why someone wouod follow an entity that is inferior to the creator God, and will result in everlasting punishment in total darkness and misery is beyond me. The temporary “thrill” of wielding the supposed power of darkness will not last, and eternity is a really really long time to regret making such an awful decision while alive. Some choose it for fame and power- perhaps thinking that this life is all that there is and “getting ahead in life” is all that matters- but others like actual Satanists pour their heart and soul into evil and willingly oppose God to their own detriment.

It’s just hard to fathom why they would do so. Th3y claim it is because they wish to “be free”, but it’s not freedom by any stretch of the imagination. The choice of course is free will (bu5 so,isn’t the choice to accept christ), but it’s a free will Choice to be a slave to evil/sin- yeah, sure it offers more temporary gratification of the senses, but the cost is so high that it just isn’t worth it.

Some say “I’d rather rule in hell than serve in heaven” but that is a statement devoid of fact- there will be no ruling anything in hell by anyone- just torment every second of eternity. There will be no parties with their fellow unbelievers, no good times at all. Th3 cost for unbelief is just too steep.

One might possibly be able to understand an unbeleiver’s choice if there was no hereafter for unbelievers, but in the book called the Bible, the word of God, which does not lie, we know that there is a hereafter.

I’m not sure these people believe in any God. I think they’re just figuring out ways to smack & insult those of us who do. Some people enjoy being outrageous & think it’s funny. But these folks obviously have some money behind them to start these lawsuits. I’m happy knowing God will deal with them...in time.
