She certainly does — since a cornerstone of leftism is redefinition of words.
“Fascism” to a leftist is “anything I disagree with whatsoever” and uses the real word to leverage regular people who speak and use regular English.
What’s amusing is that all their pejoratives — racist, sexist, (insert anything)-phobe, etc. all mean “anything I disagree with whatsoever.” For instance, from the article:
>One group wrote the dean to object that “this firing represents an intense escalation of McCarthyist repression meant to intimidate and punish those in support of a Free Palestine, and must be resisted to prevent its further normalization and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.”
“McCarthyist,” “free palestine,’ ‘normalization,’ and ‘genocide’ all mean “thing I don’t like” and are bleated out rapid-fire.
Meanwhile on the right people tend to carefully dissect and disprove every such statement to educate their readers ... useless. It’s like arguing about Latin case endings with a cat.

True, but I would argue that while Prof. Machete knows how to use that word as a weapon, she still doesn’t know its actual meaning.
