See Germany and Japan.You're right but I don't think Israel is going to do what it is going to take in Gaza. Bibi is one guy. But they will kick him out from power soon. Hamas survives to fight tomorrow.

All the civilian men, women and children are dead or cleansed from those areas.Then it's a complete free-fire zone. Anyone left is Hamas and needs to be destroyed, along with any buildings and infrastructure remaining. Sooner the better.

it may take quite some time to eliminate the Fakestinian terrorists (especially given how the Israel Defense Forces are proceeding so carefully trying to minimize “civilian” casualties, if there be many such we doubt but anyway this is the policy)
