I don’t quite see how literal fulfillment of Biblical prophecy in every detail can be a “dry run” for its actual fulfillment.
Check your timetable fixations, maybe these 20th century evangelical “certainties” about those events and the need for a “European antichrist” are skewing perceptions. (even so, if globalism is the spirit of antichrist, it’s essentially a European phenomenon embraced by socialists around the world) ... Or maybe it’s the naive belief that we get raptured away before the really bad stuff begins. Sorry, that is awfully self-serving, even our Lord wasn’t given that benefit. This is turning into the “really bad stuff” and can only get worse if action is not taken against it.
We’re in it now, folks. This is no dry run. We need to fight this and not sit around waiting for a rapture to remove us. The rapture will be when the Lord appears to start the Kingdom. I realize there are different schools of thought about this, but don’t assume that yours is correct and some other interpretation therefore has to be wrong.
I can explain it this way. Liberals are people who want good, as they understand good, but they don’t have Christianity’s training on moderation and consequences.
So liberals always go too far in what they do and millions die.
