About 40 members of the Arizona National Guard were wounded in Sunday’s aerial drone attack in northeast Jordan, including one critically injured, the Arizona Department of Emergency and Military Affairs said Tuesday.

Injuries to the Guard members ranged from cuts and bruises to traumatic brain injuries, but 34 of the injured were able to return to duty, Arizona Guard spokeswoman Capt. Erin Hannigan

Three injured service members were expected to arrive at Ramstein Air Base, Germany, on a U.S. Air Force Aeromedical Evacuation flight Tuesday evening and be transferred to nearby Landstuhl Regional Medical Center.

One of the injured service members is reported in critical condition, however, all three are reported to be stable, DEMA said.

After further examination by the center’s trauma team, a determination will be made by medical staff if any of the injured servicemembers will require evacuation back to the U.S. for further treatment.

Landstuhl Regional Medical Center is the largest U.S. Department of Defense hospital outside the continental U.S, serving as the sole military medical center and only forward-stationed evacuation and treatment center for more than 205,000 health care beneficiaries throughout Europe…

I get is, this corrupt government would put our troops in every country on the globe if they could get away with it.

Like the Bush crime family hoodwinking the entire Republican party with their globalist ten year long, “Compassionate war” where we once again won NOTHING but death and debt.

I think the last time some invasion or war within the US qualified for haz-duty...June 1942...Aleutian Islands of Alaska. Maybe some history PhD guy can correct. I don’t think Hawaii counted (until after FDR declared war and they’d left the region).

I, for one, didn’t know we were in Jordan. Appreciate the information.

What the hell is the AZ guard doing in Jordan?

Obviously, sealing the southern Arizona border against incursions by illegal aliens, drug smugglers, terrorists and sex traffickers.

Granted, it's a little harder doing so from the nation of Jordan, but the Arizona governor figures they can still do the job.

Well we now have cartel gun nests on top of the mountains in Southern Arizona, they have operational military control of most of the border now, and the Mexican "army" is really just another more powerful "cartel" (=mafia).

If that don't qualify as a "war zone", I dunno what would. They certainly think they're conducting a war against the US...

Every bit as armed as Hamas.

I agree with your analysis here! Katie Hobbs is a piece of work, isn’t she? She’s all in for this idiocy at the border IF it doesn’t impact her reelection chances. Otherwise she wants her own NG troops out of the state.

A truly unlikeable woman.

I’d love to be locked in a room with her and a baseball bat. And she can have the baseball bat!

I knew they were from Georgia, but not from the Georgia National Guard.

I always thought state national guard were for state-level purposes.
