You shouldn’t be allowed to do anything until you’re 18. Even there, it’s questionable. Your frontal lobe is not fully developed until you’re 25.
In NY, a person has to be 16 to get a drivers license,18 to vote, and 21 to buy tobacco, alcohol, and firearms, and dangerous young criminals are set free because their frontal lobes are not fully developed. And yet, they are mature enough to mutilate their bodies before they turn 10.
