In NY, a person has to be 16 to get a drivers license,18 to vote, and 21 to buy tobacco, alcohol, and firearms, and dangerous young criminals are set free because their frontal lobes are not fully developed. And yet, they are mature enough to mutilate their bodies before they turn 10.
Crazy. 18 years old is the minimum. But if you're a doctor, you should know better. They should get sued. That may happen eventually.
