The presidency is a 4 to 8 year rotating dictatorship. Nobody can stop them.
We the People, the civilians should be running the government.

We don’t.

We hire representatives who replace us and take over that responsibility.
So, then, elected representatives should be running the government.

They don’t.

They are a proxy government who’s job is to keep the People pacified while the actual government, the Shadow Government works to implement not the constitution but the New World Order through gradualism.
Globalist elite, one world government, Mystery of Babylon cultists dissolve borders, destroy economies, indebt nations with fake money and depopulate humanity through plague, famine, war and death.

Electing and protesting proxy governments is ineffective and ignorant.

Bring back civilian government.

I think that's the fatal flaw of the U.S. Constitution.

Maybe the Presidency should be more like what the Romans did. Two consuls.

There were two consuls in order to create a check on the power of any individual citizen in accordance with the republican belief that the powers of the former kings of Rome should be spread out into multiple offices.
