Third today.
Oh no......another food desert
Can you imagine that Denny’s on Saturday night at around 2am?
Oakland is about to become a “food desert”, as the supply chains collapse. And probably most other everyday staples will become scarce or totally unavailable.
No daily struggle is worth this. If people have to walk out, it may be the one thing that could save themselves.
A self-appointed Gaza Strip.
Running away from crime is racist in 3,2,1…
Just watched Joe Rogan A (former left wing) radio host decrying what is happening in California.
She should be impeached, fired, or offered to resign today.
Alternative to incarceration? Wrong answer. Incarcerate and make them work, learn a skill to get a job, get a GED, etc. Award failure to do these things with no chance at an early parole. Not being tough, not doing anything to change behavior will result in more of the same.
‘Chitlins’ Rib Shack is a Boomin !
It’s becoming a cholesterol desert.
The ripple effect will accelerate the departures; as each restaurant is shut down, the zombies will cluster about the remaining ones.
How is In-N-Out a Cult ?
Oakland is going to become the Detroit of the West Coast at the current rate. People won’t off Interstate 880 and 580 literally out of the fear for their lives.
Gavin’s glorious bragging rights to his wonderful governance.
First it was just SF, now Oakland, and the process of businesses and residents fleeing will seep down the Peninsula to Silicon Valley - the Detroit-ification of the Bay Area is underway. I grew up there and lived most of my adult life there before giving up and moving to TX last year. Sad to see.
I could think of an alternative to incarceration.
Pretty Boy Newsom wants to do the same thing to America that he’s done to California.
Not the first time In N Out has closed a place. On North Towne in Pomona CA the store was robbed twice in one week, i think late 70s or early 80s. They closed it down and 18 months later opened one on Indian Hill in Pomona.
Inn 77 Pomona was the armed robbery per capita leader in the US Detroit was the murder capitol.
These aren't "petty" crimes if they mean the cash register take can't cover the insurance anymore. Big chains cut their losses and the locals just shut down. If the government won't enforce the laws what you get isn't enlightened government and reduced oppression, it's anarchy.
Unless like Clark Griswold an accidental exit experience will help the children in the car learn about the squalor they never see at home.
Windows up.
