Years ago, we had a storm here that came out of nowhere; lots of kids who rode school buses didn’t get home until 10PM, and it took me on public transit 4 hours to get home about 3 miles away.

A couple of years ago people were stuck on I95 in Virginia for up to 24 hours, and those with EVs were really SOL.

I wonder how parents would feel if their kid, riding an EV bus, didn’t get home for 24 hours, freezing the whole time...

I was one of thousands stuck on 95 in Virginia. I had 1/4 tank of gas, no food and a little water. I had zero concerns about freezing to death or running out of gas.

I was heading south and planning to fill up once I got through northern Virginia and I wasn’t listening to the radio. No idea my life was about to stop for 15 hours. It was just a small adventure.

This is going to happen. It is just a matter of time.

Hopefully those parents will get mad and even—and vote every single politician within one hundred miles out of office.
