If you think drones are the answer to all fighting then maybe you think military recruits should be issued a drone and two grenades instead of rifles.
To be old and wide one must first survive being young and stupid.

1. Except when the weather is bad.
2. Except when jamming is present.
3. Except when as sniper has killed your drone operator.
4. Except when your are out of drones.
5. Except when there is no electricity to charge your drones.
6. Except when MMW radar picks up the launch of your drone and sends in artillery.
7. Except when the opposing army sends in mass attacks and doesn’t just sit there in a fox hole.
Drones have great uses, but they are not, and can can never be, the answer to everything.

SOMEBODY wanted the USS Bonhomme Richard, the Navy let it burn to a total wreck at the dock. SOMEBODY wanted the USS Cole to get refueled. The Navy let it get attacked by a small rubber boat. 17 sailors died. The USS Stark was nearly sunk. 37 sailors died. The USS Fitzgerald, under the command at the point of impact by two women mad at each other, collides with a merchant ship. 7 sailors died. The USS McCain runs into a merchant ship. 10 sailors died.
I could go on and on and on. When are we going to stop approving new STUFF when we cannot manage what we’ve got???
Eisenhower said “beware of the military industrial complex”. It’s time to start saying NO to our military on a wide range of equipment and personnel matters.
Your list is too short, and for naught without listing of the new USN recruiting ‘standards’.
