Are there observation/targeting drones loitering over the battlefield that could target a sniper after identifying a shot from the sniper?

Dumb question. Would a good signal jamming system screw up the drones? At least screw up their GPS?
I think it would benefit the military to better train their personnel, and better utilize the weapons they have. In the right hands, a properly scoped 7.62 NATO rifle is good for way beyond 1,000 yards.

Snipers wreaked havoc on British officers during the revolution. So much so that if you were caught with a rifled firearm you were shot out of hand.

There was a sniper team operating in the DC area about two decades ago.
They mentioned possible radar detection as I recollect.
The sniper team was captured after their car was sighted without radar help.
Long story short, probably. The average drone being deployed in Ukraine is not insanely sophisticated with optics, but if you have a heat signature, it’s going to find you. You can conceal muzzle heat relatively easy if your shot cadence is very slow and you have supressor wraps and cloaking material. All that said, I wouldn’t want to fight in that theatre at all. Dones have obviously dramatically changed the battle space.
