Cruz basically blames the media for his loss and gives a very biased interpretation of events. For all his current support for President Trump, it's worth knowing that he still apparently believes he was treated unfairly and attributes his loss to that same "unfair" treatment.

People continue with the behavior for which they are rewarded and they cease behavior for which they are not.
Some backers (who knows which political party motivates them)
are throwing millions of dollars Nikki’s way. Allegedly got $1.2 million after DeSantis dropped out. But a big donor held off unless she has a clear path to victory.

Ted Cruz made so many major mistakes, I’m surprised he lasted as long as he did.
Picking Carly Forina as VP was a monumental mistake.
