From what I understand the answer is “Yes”. The number of those crossing at Eagle Pass has dropped dramatically in the past couple of days.

That land now blocked off was a rally point for the border jumpers and a convenient rendezvous space for NGOs to get them organized, hence all the bitching. The NGOs went to making calls to their politician buddies to get it all opened up so they could get back in business. Unsuccessful so far, LoL!
