Energy Secretary Granholm Is a Lying Dog-Faced Pony Soldier!

Jennifer Granholm is a lying dog-faced pony soldier!

Yes, you heard me! (Actually, she was a beauty queen, so dog-faced is utterly inaccurate, but I couldn’t resist the Joe Biden reference)

CNBC had the Energy Secretary on to discuss Biden’s horrendous decision to halt the permitting process for the export of natural gas–a huge blow to the oil and gas industry and to, not coincidentally given the border controversy, the State of Texas.

FULL STATEMENT: And it's official. The White House announces a "temporary pause" on pending approvals of American LNG export terminals.

The statement is below, and links here to the comuniqué itself: https://t.co/FHQfDMCsl4 and a White House factsheet:

She was asked about whether the decision was due to Biden’s promise to eliminate the oil and gas industry.

She denied there was such an effort, which is absurd. “I have never heard Joe Biden say that.”

That, my friends, is a lie. Not just that Biden hasn’t promised to do so, but Granholm was chosen as Energy Secretary because she shares that goal.

This is the equivalent of Mayorkas’ “the border is secure” and “the border is closed” bulls**t, and has the same credibility: none. Not a scintilla, whatever unit of measurement that is.

Granholm has repeatedly said that she wants oil and gas to go away, and has even promised to electrify the entire military fleet.

Good luck with that. Imagine solar chargers for tanks.

Actually, perhaps they could, given how they have been gutting our military. Maybe that explains Biden’s ridiculous military policies. We can have an all-trans, all-electric military.

One of my favorite music videos of all time features Granholm, in which she sings about eliminating gasoline:

Catchy, isn’t it? Kinda puts the kaibosh on the notion that they aren’t trying to kill off our petroleum industry.

The Biden decision to cut off new LNG export facilities is a big win for Russia, which has already seen its exports recover after a significant dip due to Europe seeking other sources–particularly the United States. Biden helps Russia, harms Europe, and delivers a blow to American jobs–especially in Red states.

Oops. I am sure everybody involved is thrilled by Biden’s decision.

To put the icing on the cake, Russia is also a major coal exporter, and coal is an alternative to natural gas for electricity production. Germany is already firing up its coal plants–even tearing down a wind farm to open a coal mine. Biden’s decision will likely increase prices for natural gas outside the US.

Last I checked, coal emits far more CO2 than natural gas. Geez.

The idiocy exhibited by the Biden Administration regarding policies has only been exceeded by Hugo Chavez and his successor, Maduro. Perhaps Mao is worse.

Sri Lanka also committed economic suicide to save Mother Earth, banning fertilizer to save the planet. I guess that was worse than Biden’s attack on petroleum, at least in the short term.

If there is a smart economic decision before Biden, he will do the opposite. This decision isn’t even a good way to address the problem they claim is driving them to make this decision: climate change. As I said, natural gas produces much less CO2 than coal, its major competitor.

Frankly, I wonder if the reason Biden is doing this is connected to his battle with Texas, since it will be among the most hurt. It would surprise me not at all if we found out that a major motivation was to harm Governor Abbott.

Joe Biden’s corruption and the damage he has done to this country exceed what we have seen in the United States since the 19th century when James Buchanon put himself in the running for worst president ever.

And, like Buchanon, Biden is rushing headlong into a constitutional crisis. That one worked out pretty badly, as I recall.

Does Granholm know how the energy sector works?

I have my doubts, from hearing her speak on energy in the past.

She’s definitely more intelligent than Harris, but by how much?

Granholm was a beauty queen? What, Miss Short Bus 1954?

These people need to get some gone, before they destroy everything.

Don't forget, natural gas isn't storable. If it doesn't have a destination, it's flared off at the wellhead.

“natural gas isn’t storable”

Who told you that?
It simply isn’t true.

The government lackies are all in in the scam. Remember when they said R-12 was depleting the ozone? When I was taught refrigeration I was told to stand on my head if I inhaled R-12 because it was heavier than air. How does something heavier than air deplete the ozone? Simple, it doesn’t but DuPont patent was about to expire.

To those who label Granholm a dangerous leftist climate change fetishist feminist nutjob:
I lived through her being Governor of my state of Michigan.
You don’t know the half of it as to her evil.

She was born in British Columbia so is not legally in the line of succession and cannot legally run for VP or President. Otherwise she’d be promoted in the media for that.

When her last term as governor ended she fled to California.

It takes a lot more infrastructure to store natural gas than to store oil.

And a great many of our oil wells produce natural gas as long as their pumping oil. Which is why we simply burn it, when we don’t have the facilities to store it.

Related, skipping the "medical world" worry:

The U.S. just sold its helium stockpile. Here’s why the medical world is worried. [January 25, 2024 - NBC News]

Once the deal is finalized, the buyer — which will likely be the highest bidder, the industrial gas company Messer — will claim some 425 miles of pipelines spanning Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma

It is about the politics involved for the acquisition of gas pipelines and Texas resources - gas and oil basins and blocks . . . and liberals who claim to be for climate change, but actually, they want to own a portion of the gas and oil income streams.

IMHO

These scumbag America hating Marxists know NOTHING about what they are in charge of and support the absolute opposite of what that department is suppose to promote. Granholm knows absolutely nothing about energy. The only energy she can produce are the calories burning in her stupid fat head thinking of ways to destroy the nation’s infrastructure and empower our enemies.

From what I recall Granholm has a F*cking Law Degree and is from Canada.

So to answer your question, she has NO CLUE how the energy sector works. Remember this stupid twit couldn’t even drive her EV any long distance WITHOUT having her minions run ahead and hijack a charging space for her.

CLUELESS describes the ENTIRE Biden Fluster Cuck of an administration.

I’m not sure where you are getting your information, but there is about 4 trillion cubic feet of natural gas storage in the United States.
Storing natural gas is not a problem.

And North Dakota, alone, flares off 1/4 trillion cf every year.

“North Dakota, alone, flares off 1/4 trillion cf every year”

And that brings you to the conclusion that natural gas can’t be stored?

That brings me to the conclusion that we need to build more processing and export facilities.
