I hope some Michigan FReepers can enlighten us.

I was born and raised in Michigan but haven't lived there in decades so I have no inside information, but I do know almost the entirety of the people withing the Michigan GOP are worms who have no regard for individual freedom and liberty and have sold out the State of Michigan for a few pieces of silver.

Confirmed. Trump never supported her for MIGOP.

So you have to wonder why not. That’s why I think it’s hard to just write this whole controversy off as the establishment being angry at her. I know several very strong conservatives in the UP that think she is a Democrat plant given her past:

On the other hand, Karamo says a lot of true things about the GOPe.

UberE went over this shortly after Jan 6.
Karamo was not properly removed as there was no quorum present.
IIRC, the motion was made on the promise of a quorum being present “eventually”.
Eventually never happened.

A buddy was in the middle of this mess. He told me Karamo is a very nice woman who got into something far, far over her head. She had no experience leading complex organizations and made lots of very bad decisions including mixing several disparate funding sources.

Plus, the MIGOP is a complete mess of an organization. They need someone to come in and completely rebuild it.

Michigan is a mess.

Karamo was elected chair and has done NOTHING. There are several counties in Michigan that are a sh*t show as well.

I was hopeful when Karamo was elected, but all she has done is whine. She says they did not leave any data. Ok, you have social media — solicit emails and then solicit small donations. None of that was done.

No voter registration drives, just complaining and infighting.

I don’t love Hoekstra, but if he helps get Trump elected, I am all for him, cause Karamo was/is not good.
