My colleague Mike Miller previously reported about scuttlebutt afoot regarding replacing Joe Biden with Michelle Obama as the Democrats' 2024 presidential nominee. I wrote earlier about a report that the Obamas were worried about Biden's chances, that Obama had been yelling at him to step things up or get out, and reports they were working behind the scenes to encourage him to get out of the race.

But now there's more from Megyn Kelly, talking about a report from NY Post columnist Cindy Adams about the "plan" in the works. Now, again, take all reports with a grain of salt and question anything from "sources" but Adams says she's being told the timeline. Kelly said there's been a reach out to donors that both she and Adams have heard about.
Here's what Adams says:
Reportedly, and I’m being told, “Obama has polled donors.”
His plan? Around May, Biden announces he’s not running (even mentally). The so-called plot is that come the August convention, Michelle gets nominated.

The process has begun.
Kelly also mentioned Michelle Obama's comments about being terrified for 2024, because leaders were so important and the government does "everything" for us.
What’s going to happen in this next election? I am terrified about what could possibly happen. Because our leaders matter, who we select, who speaks for us, who holds that bully pulpit, it affects us in ways that sometimes I think people take for granted. You know, the fact that people think that government, ‘Ahhh, you know, does it really even do anything?’ And I’m like, ‘Oh my God. Does government do everything for us, and we cannot take this democracy for granted.’ And sometimes I worry that we do.”
Now, I don't doubt Barack Obama likes power, but I'm not sure Michelle wants the job. Plus, while they may think that she could just step in and be nominated at the convention, it might not be as simple as they think. Others with experience beyond just being in the White House might rise and want to be heard in such a scenario. So this seems a rather complicated thing to try to pull off at the last hour, although she is very popular within the party. And Biden hasn't seemed to want to step aside so far — the plan requires him to comply. Jill Biden likes the spotlight. So that's another thing — they would have to somehow convince him to get out. It seems someone wants us to think this is a possibility. Are they floating a test bubble to see how it works or does Barack Obama think they could pull this off?
But the fact that this is even being floated at all is just one more confirmation of how weak Joe Biden is. That could explain why the reports about what Barack Obama and his aides are thinking re: Joe Biden have been percolating a lot over the past month, perhaps laying the groundwork, and why Michelle is suddenly making comments at all.
Republicans should be prepared for anything, as we see Democrats will try anything to retain control.

The J6 Bomb plot at DNC was Obama’s plan to take out Kamala and replace her with Big Mike while smearing Trump and part of the Plan B during the FEDsurrection. It was foiled by someone tipping off the SS (likely Trump).
As Trump said, “‘Zero Risk to Me’ but Will ‘Haunt’ Joe Biden.” It was Nancy’s plan to kick off 25th Amendment on Biden, not Trump to take Kamala’s replacement (Big Mike) to the WH without a pesky election, giving Obama a 4th term.

Maybe this is what happens but what about some other folks that don’t like the Obamas?
What if Hillary shivs Michelle? Is she petty enough to think, “if I can’t be the first ‘female’ president, no way in #*** am I going to sit back and let her!”
I have been suggesting that the ideal scenario for the GOP is that Biden expires due to natural causes in approximately May. Then Harris is sworn in and the ugly truth is thrust onto center stage. But how could the Democrats - at a convention perhaps 75 days later reject Harris as nominee - without underscoring the fact that she was a horrible selection in the first place. I have no doubt that mischievous actors on the world stage would take advantage of Harris in the Commander in Chief role and you would see Taiwan invaded, and perhaps Iranian proxies, or Iran itself launching (large scale) on Israel. So, there would be chaos which would only underscore her lack of fitness for office. No way that could be played to the advantage of Democrats. Selecting someone other than Harris is not something that could be finessed. And besides, how likely is it that real news is going to be breaking through Cindy Adams?
