Feferalizing the Guard back in the 1900 was an attack on states’ rights.
The more that is under feferal control the less freedom for everyone.
I agree. Besides, I think a potential Biden federalization of the Texas National Guard to be used in the United States would be problematic wrt the Posse Comitatus Act.
The only excuse for that as an ‘emergency’ would be the Fed’s admission that it wasn’t doing its job in the first place - protecting the US from external invasion.
