Governor Greg Abbott today issued a statement on Texas’ constitutional right to defend and protect itself as President Joe Biden continues to attack Texas and refuse to perform his duties to secure the border.
“The Executive Branch of the United States has a constitutional duty to enforce federal laws protecting States, including immigration laws on the books right now,” reads the statement. “President Biden has instructed his agencies to ignore federal statutes that mandate the detention of illegal immigrants. The failure of the Biden Administration to fulfill the duties imposed by Article IV, § 4 has triggered Article I, § 10, Clause 3, which reserves to this State the right of self-defense. For these reasons, I have already declared an invasion under Article I, § 10, Clause 3 to invoke Texas’s constitutional authority to defend and protect itself. That authority is the supreme law of the land and supersedes any federal statutes to the contrary.” [Full statement pdf HERE]

Do you think SCOTUS even knew about Texas Article I, § 10, Clause 3 ? Just asking>>> It’s the US constitution.
“The Constitution contains negative rights. It tells the Federal Government what it cannot do. What we need is a Constitution of positive rights, that delineate what the government can do to, on behalf of the people.” >>> That’s because there are no rights in the constitution only the delegated powers granted to the gov to protect my God given rights.
Great insight.
Half of SCOTUS: some old document that said something, probably or definitly raciss.
Multisyllabic vocabulary obscuring meaning and significance to several Just-Us’es
Do you live in a border state? Are mojados being brought across a river and overland to your state by los carteles onto private as well as public land?
Nobody who has any sense will go around landmining the border or strafing mojados with 50 cal guns-the legal/human rights issues would be a losing proposition, since much/most of that land is privately owned-there are people who depend on the ranches and farms they own and operate to make a living, and you can’t put them in danger, stepping over landmines and dodging 50 cal rounds as they go about their normal workday-they also take down and deal with any mojados they catch on their land all by themselves. So your suggestion makes no sense-best to keep all remedies nice and legal unless there is a real war...
Activate then aend to Syria, Yemen, or Ukraine?
I think we need a declared war for that. The only risk to the US i.e. hot war is at the Rio grande at the moment.
I had only the Texas flag displayed on my gate-been like that since the 2020 steal, but when all this started a few weeks ago, I put the come-and-take-it battle flag up beside it-and it will stay that way until after the 2024 election, at least...
Good insight! Can’t wait to use it on a Leftist.
Here. We. Go.
It was a clueless ruling from justices who are unforgivingly ignorant of the border crisis. This should not have been 5-4 in support of Biden. We know the usual tramps would vote to side with Biden and the Cartels, but ACB and Roberts should have made it a 6-3 ruling and supported Texas, and its desperate struggle for the safety of American citizens. Unfortunately neither ACB nor Roberts have balls.
Balls.
Of.
Titanium.
I know what I want to happen. I will sit back and see what actually happens.
Go get ‘em, Tex!
BTTT
It’s not like this is an “invasion - invatsion”, just a small, peaceful, fentanyl type invasion.
call and leave support on the opinion line.... I did!
We need to back this Governor and let him know American Patriots are behind him.

AMEN~~
Texas was it’s very own country before it became a State.
GOD BLESS TEXAS
The invasion will continue until death is the assured outcome of the effort.
The motivation is essentially infinite.
