Just because you put them in a uniform does not change the basic nature of boys and girls.
When you have many young boys and girls together, sex becomes a biologically programmed part of the social interactions. It’s what most are thinking about several times every hour (statistics vary greatly BUT all show it’s often), even if they do not talk about it. It’s a biological programmed / instinctual and you cannot even blame the people in all reality.
The problems we have today are because of stupid policies that pretend humans are robots and can turn biology off.
This is a case where you have a society disconnected from reality actually believing their own BS!

Yes, but she’s in her FORTYs, hardly a randy young girl. Maybe she could have had some self control,. tamped down the bad behavior and urges, and not harassed subordinates as is expected of an officer? Is that too much to ask?
Even if the units were segregated, this would still be a problem. Especially after we got rid of the "Don't ask, don't tell" policy.
