I'm old enough to have seen an organ grinder and his monkey. The monkey passed the cup around, but the organ grinder emptied the cup into his own pocket. The metaphor seems wholly apt.

China and its "growth" in coal energy is making the Western environmentalists look like economic fools. "Green energy policies" is a phrase taken out of Nudge Theory 101. "To influence change" but in which direction?

They are building coal plants for short term power needs as they are cheap to build but are also building nuclear plants to replace the coal plants. In 20 years they will be I a good position.
Unfortunately we have NIMBY eff-nuts here that will have the US be Amish in 30years and not competitive in the world markets.
