I was at the post office today. A customer asked the clerk if he can have a mask because he was going to his doctor’s appointment. We all laughed. He got his mask.

Father-in-law. And I think it was a tent. He was due to be in one of those very bad landing parties, but got pulled out because of his photographic hobby and this project, I think.

He ate out on those stories quite frequently.

Husband’s family and mine are from Chicago. We grew up with snow that covered cars and stopped the world for days on end. My first husband and I had an MGB. It was so narrow that it drove tilted in the middle hump and one rut. And it was so hard to start that I remember husband cooking the car with a BBQ grill to start it in winter. Oh, the days of youth and stupidity.

Bragging moment- TV

My hometown high school girl’s basketball team is ranked # 1 in the state (IL).

One of the players is ranked # 1 in the state.

The other night they were behind 15 points. End of game, they caught up and won the game.

Last year, they played for the state championship, finishing second. All juniors.

This year, all seniors.
