In the movies, SEALS and spec ops guys are tracked in real time on satellite, infra-red, and position monitoring, and I assume they have more capabilities than even Hollywood gives them

They also are supposed to be really good at operating in the ocean.

So the story that they simply fell in the ocean and “disappeared” seems to me like bullsh**
