You presume background checks for those legally here have been performed. That’s not always the case, and Vermont’s laws don’t trump that. Beyond that I don’t want to get into an arguement over stop and frisk. But even legal immigrants are required to follow all the steps citizens do to acquire a firearm in all states.

My son applied for and was accepted to a PHD program at UV Burlington. He went up and visited and decided against it. He stated that the whole area of Burlington smelled like POT. Everywhere you went. The whole town. A bunch of burnout hipsters.
