At least 25 people have been killed after Ukrainian forces shelled a busy suburban shopping area in the Russian-controlled city of Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, according to local officials.
Alexei Kulemzin, the city’s Russian-installed mayor, said Ukrainian artillery had fired on a bustling district where shops and a market are located. Denis Pushilin, the Russian-appointed head of the Donetsk region, said emergency services were working at the scene, adding that a further 20 people, including two children, had been injured in the strike on the suburb of Tekstilshchik.
Pushilin said that the area had been hit by 155 mm and 152 mm calibre artillery, and that the shells had been fired from the direction of Kurakhove and Krasnohorivka to the west.

Hard to see an upside for the Neocons in having Ukraine do this crap, but maybe it’s frustration, especially because their close in firing position, Avdiivka, is on the verge of being Liberated by Russia, so they won’t have it as a firing position soon.

Ukraine has been deliberately shelling the civilian areas of Donetsk since 2014.
They have never been under any pressure from the NeoCons to stop.
On the contrary, when it becomes public, the Regime Media makes up stories of how Russia or the Breakaway Republics are shelling their own populations.
It’s tough though. The Russians have to attack on unfavorble terrain in order to push Ukraine out of artillery range.

But I suspect that the 2014 lines are the strongest - once Russia is clear of them, the resistance will be much less.

There ya go... finally someone sees what this will end up like if people REALLY wanted to defeat the Soviet Union and NOT launder money. Every small weapons manufacturer, ammunition supplier/manufacturer, explosives/detonators, circuit/comms and food suppliers should flood Ukraine with aid, just abandon the front lines and let the Russians "take" as much as they want.... then bleed them to death with a million tiny cuts. All those men were wasted fighting the Russians and NATO war when all they needed to do was join the 21st century and bleed your enemy to death slowly.
What's frightening is that the US DOD thinks that having aircraft carriers, "F-16"s, drones, hyper-sonic missiles and lasers will win a "war"...when it takes a hard heart, true belief, courage and the willingness to kill and die for your cause..... one bullet at a time, one bomb at a time, one dead enemy at a time.
Our support for Taiwan should include massive training by our Green Berets on insurgency and evasion... but instead they'll waste money and men on missile batteries, shore defenses and high cost jets/ships... subs and overhead recon/intel may be the only useful tools we can provide...
