Yeah, I feel like you do. When reality meets idealism it hurts. But most of us outgrow the idealism stage at a younger age.
While he was in a state of panic, the terror-filled Mayor asked Texas to please stop sending illegal immigrants to his virtuous “sanctuary city” (sap-happily created to welcome migrants with safety, security, and tons of tax-paid free things).
The sedated, panic-stricken Mayor has now reached the end of his rope, and has gone so far as to unkindly suggest that Gov Abbott is staging attacks on “leaders of color” by shipping out illegal immigrants to “migrant sanctuaries” like colorful Chicago and New York.
Tsk, tsk, tsk.
