More than one in every ten fatal crashes in California is a hit-and-run, according to a new study involving federal traffic data.
The research, commissioned by Suzuki Law Offices, looked at National Highway Traffic Safety Administration figures between 2017 and 2021.
Of the 18,137 fatal crashes in California during that period, 1,901, or 10.48%, involved drivers who fled the scene. That’s the highest total number of fatal hit-and-runs in the nation and significantly above the national rate of 6.33%, the data showed.

Is it a surprise that someone illegally in the US with no license, no insurance, possibly in a stolen car would flee the scene? Hardly.

Have some sensitivity. It is difficult to go quickly from driving a donkey cart to driving a stolen car. Just where is you tolerance?
No mystery here:
-Kalifornia has flooded itself with border jumpers, in the country illegally.
-They likely have no valid driving license or proper ID.
-Almost certainly they drive with no auto insurance of any kind.
-These illegals are accustomed to operating under a bribe & graft system.
