It’s the migrant industry that is promulgating this issue.
Government money and grants, NGO groups, rich donors, complicit business and trade groups, and churches all work in a loose net community to help migrants. Most of them use other people’s money to fund and it make people feel good to help the “down trodden” and desperate.
When funds dry up and and a country is broken they just move operations and get a new sucker/ easy mark to pay their bills.
E.g the mayor of LA was a well paid homeless advocate and NGO leader. Ya think she’s going to kill off the gravy train for homeless and migrant services paid from the government’s slush funds. Sugar daddy government is the HR and paymaster for them to keep the problem going.

It was obvious that they were being helped along the way. They could not walk that distance. They can’t sleep while walking. Someone arranged transportation, food, and sleeping facilities.
