Hunter Biden to Sit for Closed-Door Deposition, Along with 5 Associates

Hunter Biden will sit for a closed-door interview on February 28, along with five Biden family associates at various dates, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) and Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) announced Thursday.

The announcement came as a surprise to some Republicans. Last week, the chairmen went through procedural hurdles to prepare for a House vote to hold Hunter in contempt of Congress for failing to sit for the deposition.

It was more than just that, they wanted a public show-hearing where dem rep after dem rep could make a shitshow of the hearing. Dems with their looong run-on snoozer questions to prop up Hunter and Joe, and their constant disruptive interruptions and accusations of Republican reps. They just want to make a mess of it in front of the TV audience.

“10 held by H for the big guy,” as referring to Joe Biden

Hunter is a material witness in the House impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. House investigators launched the probe into the Biden family in November 2022. They revealed:

Thanks, Liz. Now the timing makes sense. Get all of the facts and information from everyone else before confronting the real target. Hunter will know that he cannot lie because his questioners already know the answers.

My prediction….There will be great buildup to Hunter’s day of reckoning and his only words will be pleading the fifth. He has nothing to gain by saying anything else and everything to lose.

The Delaware Supreme Court sided with the University of Delaware Thursday, denying the release of President Joe Biden’s Senate records in a lawsuit brought by the Daily Caller News Foundation and Judicial Watch.

The DCNF and Judicial Watch appealed to the Delaware Supreme Court in January 2023 after the state’s Superior Court found the university had satisfied the burden of proof needed to justify denying the records that the DCNF requested through the state’s public records act.

The Delaware Supreme Court affirmed the Superior Court’s judgement Thursday, shielding the documents requested in both organization’s April 30, 2020 public records requests from release.

“The public has a significant interest in these documents,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton told the DCNF. “If the Delaware courts are going to protect Biden from having to produce them or the secret deal that keeps them away from the American people, then Congress should get involved.”

Documents requested by the DCNF, which now will not be released, include
<><>agreements relating to the storage of 1,850 boxes and 415 gigabytes of records from 1973 to 2009,
<><>communications between university staff and Biden’s staff,
<><>log sheets of individuals who have visited the collection, and,
<><> the actual records in the collection.

The records may contain information
<><>relating to Tara Reade,
<><>who accused Biden of sexually assaulting her while working in his senate office in 1993,
<><>or the president’s son Hunter Biden,
<><>who recently plead guilty to possessing a firearm while using a controlled substance, and,
<><> for failing to pay taxes in 2017 and 2018.

Biden’s records have been housed at the University of Delaware Library since 2012. He gave them to the university on the condition that they would not be publicly released until “they have been properly processed and archived,” according to the university’s website.

During oral arguments for the case in June, legal counsel representing the university told the Delaware Supreme Court it could determine whether public funds were used to support Biden’s papers without looking at the records.

Eric Schwerin's emails from Hunter’s hard drive show Schwerin moving money on behalf of Joe and Hunter while helping the latter handle family expenses. Schwerin received Joe Biden’s “Delaware tax refund check” while he was vice president and he and Hunter talked by phone about Joe Biden’s mortgage.

In February 2014, Hunter advised Schwerin to describe himself as a “close confidant and counsel” to his VP dad WRT a letter of recommendation Schwerin was penning on Joe Biden’s behalf. The NY Post reported that Eric Schwerin was involved in the transfer of Joe Biden’s Senate papers to the U of Delaware in March 2010 — which may have included “sensitive” and “classified” documents. By December 2017, Hunter had fallen out with Schwerin and attempted to cut ties with him.

HUNTER UNLEASHED “I terminated you as an at-will employee for gross negligence. Also if you continue to sit with friends of mine and relationships that are mine and defame me I will sue you for defamation of character and embezzlement and for the debt with you still have not contributed your supposed 25% share of,” Hunter wrote on Dec. 12, 2017. “ … We are no longer just done as business partners you should consider moving to somewhere in Florida I’ll never go. Naples is perfect you can live in perpetual time share with your parents and talk about what a horrible person I am.”

Bobulinski was double crossed by Hunter and was steaming mad when he went on TV. Maybe the committee will learn something new. Joe was at the California meeting with Tony and Hunter, so Joe might know something about the diversion of funds to Hudson West. As you say Scherwin had the keys to the kingdom and may not have a memory recall problem after being fired..
