Trump vows to block Central Bank Digital Currency

Former President Donald Trump on Wednesday vowed that, should he return to the White House, he would block the Federal Reserve from developing a digital currency.

"Tonight, I'm also making another promise to protect Americans from government tyranny. As your president, I will never allow the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency," Trump said at a rally in New Hampshire.

A Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) is effectively a cryptocurrency under the control of a nation's central bank, which in the U.S. is the Federal Reserve. Differentiating them from standard cryptocurrencies is their link to a national fiat currency, according to Investopedia.

Republicans have long warned of the potential risk of such a move, with Florida GOP Gov. Ron DeSantis calling last year to ban the use of any potential CBDC in the Sunshine State.

"A federally controlled Central Bank Digital Currency is the most recent way the Davos elites are attempting to backdoor woke ideology like Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) into the United States financial system, threatening individual privacy and economic freedom," his office stated in March 2023. "The Biden administration’s efforts to inject a Centralized Bank Digital Currency is about surveillance and control."

He signed legislation to that effect in May of last year.

Spending some time with Vivek in New Hampshire has had a positive effect.

Trump even sent up a trial “peace balloon” with his acceptance speech in Iowa, congratulating “Nikki” and “Ron” on doing very well.

Now if Ron can take the hint, suspend his campaign and endorse Trump we can get on with the business of overcoming the massive cheating that the Uniparty machine is spooling up.

I think before too long, we will (and should) talk about banning central banks - not just central bank digital currencies.

I think before too long, we will (and should) talk about banning central banks - not just central bank digital currencies.

Why do you think there is such a focus on Yemen right now?

They're one of the few countries in the world who do not have debt-based currency through a central bank.

They do have a central bank - but controlled by their nation and not debt-based.

Why do you think Iran and Iraq were so important to lay waste to back during Bush?

Answer: They didn't have debt-based money. The first thing that happened after the Gulf War was establishment of that form of money in both governments.

It's all about power and control.

Very important. Digital currency is the major tool in monitoring and controlling every last financial transaction on the planet. Biblical end times.

The Davos globalists want to get rid of all cash. Tracking your every expenditure is a socialist dream.

I never patronize retailers who are “ cashless “.

“...who do not have debt-based currency”

Is a debt-based currency one that is not backed up by something real like gold?

some power companies are already sending out warnings to their customers abotu ‘cutting back on power consumption’ because ‘the electric grid they run off is at full capacity”- and they suggest apparently ‘unplugging cars that are charging”

Gee- aint we in for a really swell time if the left mandate electric only for everything from lawn mowers to cars and trucks and tractor trailers and trains, and planes etc etc etc-

I see no advantage to using a cryptocurrency tied to a government, and a number of disadvantages.

Is a debt-based currency one that is not backed up by something real like gold?

It is a money supply that is backed up by Treasury bills, notes, and bonds (and now CMO and MBS in the US). All debt instruments.

It is backed up by claims on the future labor of the sovereign citizens - making them slaves to the holder.
