“gathering bank card information”
I only use Capital One VIRTUAL credit cards on line. It’s a number tied to ONE merchant. Other merchants cannot use it. You can turn it off and on at will. You can set an expiration date. If it is stolen, you cancel that one number and your main number behind the scenes remains unscathed. You can set the card up for multiple uses or a one-time use. You can use their web page or mobile app to create and manage your virtual numbers.
It’s the best solution ever to web commerce. Highly recommended.
Seems good - I have a bank account that I normally put only enough money to do the next upcoming transaction - they have no minimum balance other than $0.01.
It USUALLY protects me.
USUALLY.....
Interesting.
I buy a lot from AMZ and they sent me their own Chase Visa card. Can go to local Chase bank and pay it, credit issued within two days.
I buy a few things with Capital One and can pay by phone, which is a nice feature.
Some friends of ours use a Cash app card, which is free. You just load it like you would a gift card. They think it’s completely safe that way, but of course, you have to use your bank acct to load it. Anybody know if it’s legit?
Difficult to use?
good post, thanks
